‘Rakshabandhan’ celebrated by HJS in Thane District

Thane (Maharashtra) : On behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS), ‘sattvik raakhis’ were tied to pro-Hindu activists after explaining the significance of ‘raakhis’. This program was undertaken by HJS keeping in mind the need of the hour which is Hindu unity and with an aim that every Hindu should come together for protection of Dharma. In all 77 men were tied ‘raakhis’ on behalf of HJS at Thane, Bhiwandi, Dombivali, Kalyan etc. HJS was extended invitation by Shiv Sena to attend ‘Rakshabandhan’ ceremony at children’s remand home in Bhiwandi.  Mrs. Manisha Kshirsagar of HJS attended the program. ‘Raakhis’ were tied for 100 boys.
