All Sects need to unite against the proposed anti-communal riots Act – Advocate Veerendra Ichalkaranjikar
Pune (Maharashtra) : The proposed Act against communal riots can result in dislocation of Hindus, who are in majority, like their brethren in Kashmir. As per the provisions of this Act, just an accusation by minorities against majority (Hindus) can result in their arrest under non-bailable offence. After the riots, any accused from minority can be released where as Hindus can be oppressed as per the said Act. It is therefore, necessary for Hindus to unite and strongly oppose this Act as they did against anti-superstitions Act and taking over management of temples Act, stated Mr. Veerendra Ichalkaranjikar, an advocate. He addressed a work-shop held by Sree Sampradaya under the guidance of Anant Sree Vibhushit Ramanandacharya Jagatguru Sree Narendracharyaji Maharaj on awareness towards the law. The work-shop was held at Muktai Garden.
Mr. Dilip Ghag, an observer of Sree Sampradaya, Mr. Vishwas Samgir, Mrs. Yojana Kharate, District President – women’s wing, Mr. Anant Shinde of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, advocate Mr. Shriram Pokale, advocate Mr. Rajendra Bhide were the dignitaries who attended the work-shop. Advocate Mr. Pokale spoke about laws related to Revenue and advocate Bhide about laws related to right to information (RTI) and women. More than 100 devotees attended the program. An exhibition was put up by Sree Sampradaya and Sanatan Sanstha at the venue.
