Hindu temples insecure in State ruled by BJP

Madikeri (Karnataka): Sri Ganesh idol from Sri Ganesh Temple at Shanivarsante in Madikeri District was damaged by anti-Hindus and donation box was stolen recently. The sanctity of the temple was also spoilt by throwing beer bottles in the temple premises. VHP and Bajarang Dal have protested against the incident and a complaint has been lodged with the local police station. Local organizations have given a warning that agitation would be staged if the culprits were not nabbed within a week.
