By offering freedom at 12.00 midnight, the British, in fact, pushed India into slavery ! – Acharya Shuklaji

Paladhi (Dist. Jalgaon, Maharashtra) : Sanatan Hindu Dharma is supreme. We should understand the significance of ‘tithi (day as per Hindu calendar)’ in Dharma. We should try to know our Dharma and get inspiration for working towards upliftment of Nation and Dharma. The British offered independence to India in the year 1947 at 12.00 midnight and, in a way, pushed us into slavery. The above fiery views were expressed by Acharya Shuklaji of Gayatripeeth, Paladhi. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) had organized a program at Saint Savatamali Temple to celebrate Independence Day as per the ‘tithi’ when he addressed the gathering. Mr. Anil Kasat, a member of Paladhi Grampanchayat and Miss Deepali Kadam of HJS shared the dais with him.

The program was started with performing ‘puja’ of ‘Bharatmata’ at the hands of Mr. Anil Kasat. Miss Deepali Kadam explained the importance of celebrating Independence Day according to the ‘tithi’ as per Dharma-shastra. She illustrated many examples to explain supremacy of Sanatan Hindu Dharma. The program was concluded with signing of the national song with all 6 stanzas. The program was attended by about 50 patriots.

Highlights

  • Many people saved the national song with all 6 stanzas in their cell phones.
  • Panch, Mr. Ramchandra Popat of Saint Savtamali Temple made a demand for ‘flex’ banners on ‘Dharmacharan’ prepared by Sanatan Sanstha.

When HJS members went to meet Mr. Anil Kasat to invite him for the program, he acknowledged the activities of HJS and said that he would extend help for any program organized by HJS in future.
