Hindu deities pictures on footwear: Shop damaged

Jabalpur: A shoe-shop near the Bus-stand was selling slippers with pictures of deities. When some staunch Hindus came to know about it, they damaged the shop. Police have arrested 5 persons in this connection.

In the store named ‘Fancy Chappal Stores’, footwear with deities pictures were kept on sale. When members of a Hindu organization came to know about it, they went to the shop and demanded an explanation from the owner, but he gave all evasive and irresponsible answers. This enraged the members and they damaged his shop. On the basis of complaint lodged by the owner, 5 persons have been arrested so far. Shri Mayaram Lalwani, the Area Minister of VHP said that insult of our deities cannot be tolerated and he extended support to the action of members of his party.

(Congratulations to the staunch Hindus for opposing the denigration of Hindu deities. Such Hindus are real strength of Hindu Dharma. Editor)
