Anti-Hindu Govt. has to go, Hindus warns!

Sangali: The only purpose of Government passing the proposed two Acts for eradication of blind faith and taking over temples and religious institutions of Hindus is to give a blow to Hindu’s feelings and faith. The Government also has an eye on the funds collected by way of donations by temples and religious institutions. But such Government will have to go. It was a warning given by the Hindu organizations to the Government. A huge protest march was taken out to the office of District Collector. Members of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, many Hindu organizations, political parties, Trustees of temple and religious institutions and staunch Hindus participated in the march. A representation was accepted by the Resident Deputy Collector.

The march culminated in a protest meeting. Everyone condemned the Government for its ploy to pass the two Acts. Shri. Narayanrao Kadam, the President of Hindu Ekata Andolan said that Hindus should bring pressure on the Government and foil its plan to take over temples. By taking over the management of the temples, the elected representatives are trying to make provision for maintenance of the party workers. Shri. Kadam also warned that the MLAs who oppose such Bills will have support of Hindus but MLAs supporting the Bills will have to pay a heavy price in the next election.
