Pitiable condition of Hindu temples in BJP governed State !

Hindus should note the ill-effects of ‘governmentalization’ of temples !

Shivmogga (Karnataka) – Water leaks in Rameshwar Temple at Keladi in Sagar Taluka if it is raining. The condition of the sanctum sanctorum is like a pond and the priest has to perform ‘puja’ by opening an umbrella.

Rain water in Shiva – pindi
Rain water falls on Shiva – pindi. The condition of Veerbhadra Temple in the vicinity is no different. Both the temples are under the ‘Mujarai’ Department of the Karnataka Government and are neglected even by the Archeology Department.

Devotees facing problem for taking ‘darshan’
Water comes down in Veerabhadra Temple flowing down from its roof. As a result, devotees are unable to enter the temple. The water is seeping through the walls which can lead to short circuit. There is moss outside the temple and one can slip and fall. The main entrance door is collapsed and the fence of the temple is also in the state of dilapidation.
