Gratitude offered to Sri Mahalakshmidevi by HJS for this success !
Kolhapur, 3rd July – It has been decided by ‘Pashchim Maharashtra Devasthan Vyavasthapan Samiti (PMDVS)’ to open the famous ‘Manikarnika Kunda’ in Sri Mahalakshmi Mandir premises, Kolhapur, i.e. one of the 3-1/2 ‘Shakti-peethas’, for devotees. The actual work will be started on 5th July 2020. A 7-members committee has been formed for this work. Since 2015, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and Hindu Vidhidnya Parishad (HVP) has been fighting to expose corrupt practices of PMDVS and for opening of ‘Manikarnika Kunda’ using various means like staging agitations, submitting memoranda, raising this issue in sessions of State Legislative Assembly etc. Pro-Hindu parties and organizations like Shiv Sena, ShriShivaPratishthan Hindustan etc; besides devotees of Sri Mahalakshmidevi participated in these agitations. The work being started for opening ‘Manikarnika Kunda’ in Mahalakshmi Mandir premises is the success of a lawful fight given by HJS and HVP, stated Shri. Manoj Khadye, HJS Coordinator for Gujarat State, western Maharashtra and Konkan Region, through a press release.
It has been further stated in the press release that
1. HJS has offered gratitude to Sri Mahalakshmidevi for this success. It is expected that the work related to opening of ‘Manikarnika Kunda’ would be completed in a certain time limit so that devotees would be able to visit this divine ‘Kunda’ and efforts should also be made by people to maintain and preserve sanctity of this ‘Kunda’.
2.On 8th April 2015, the then Chief Minister Devendra Fadanvis had issued order to special investigation team of State CID for conducting investigations into the scams committed by PMDVS. Investigations were started accordingly; however, no information has been given after 5 years about the status of investigations, whether any report has been submitted to the Government or not, despite continuous follow up of this issue. Therefore, report on investigations conducted by CID should be published at the earliest and the guilty should be stringently punished. HJS has again made the above demand. (Why does one have to make such demand? The Government should, on its own, give information on scams to people. If no action is taken even after 5 years, can corruption be eradicated? Only Hindu Rashtra can bring necessary change in this situation ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
