Issue of nature of proposed anti-communal riots Act !
Shri. Samir Darekar ( in the right ) addressing the program |
Mumbai –
Terrorists are attacking India every now and then; but Congress does not want to pass powerful and proper Act against the terrorists. In this Hindustan, however, where Hindus are in majority, Congress is hatching a plot to pass an Act against Hindus like it happened in Mughal regime. This Act is against the Constitution of this country; will create religious favouritism doing injustice to Hindus. It is a wicked ploy of the Congress to make Hindus and Hinduism powerless. The above views were expressed by Mr. Samir Darekar, a founder member of Abhinav Nirman Prakashan, Pune and a staunch patriot.A program was organized by Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini (Prabodhini) at Wadala to create awareness among people towards the proposed anti-Hindu Act for preventing communal riots (Communal and targeted violence prevention). Mr. Hemant Deodhar, a senior Public Relations Officer of Prabodhini was also present. Mr. Darekar addressed the gathering.
Points presented by Mr. Darekar dissecting proposed Act
1. This Act will not be applicable only for cases of riots; but as per the provisions of this Act, giving speeches creating hatred, propagation etc. are also offences which can apply to violent as also non-violent matters.
2. If the Act is passed, it will be difficult for Hindus (their organizations, parties, institutions) to carry on their activities related to Dharma. There will be restrictions on them for presenting views in public meetings, writing in newspapers etc. which means it will create an indirect terror among Hindus. The main judges are of the opinion that it is possible to amend existing laws in case of any drawbacks or implement the existing laws effectively, said Mr. Darekar while concluding his speech citing examples.
Misuse of the Act is more likely
Police have liberty to take immediate action against majority if a person from minority lodges a complaint, because every offence will be non-bailable and cognizable. Personal fight between two persons can also lead to lodging of complaint. If anyone is refused entry, retrenched from job etc. then minority can use this Act to send majority behind bars. Especially, during elections, members of pro-Hindu parties, organizations can be held with the help of certain communities. As per the Act, such activist or leader can even be banished.
