Nagpur: Agitation against two proposed anti-Hindu Acts has been intensified under the aegis of Hindu Janajgruti Samiti (HJS). The program of hunger strike to be taken in turns was inaugurated by H. H. Swami Nirmalanandji Maharaj of Geeta Mandir. Swamiji blessed the mission of HJS and extended His full support. He appealed to people that the activities of HJS are really commendable and everyone should join the mission to protect Hindu religion.

A hunger strike to be undertaken in turns has been started and it would go on during the winter session of the Legislative Assembly. Respected Shriramji Joshi said that many saints have decided to create awareness among people against the proposed Act for taking over management of temples and religious institutions as the Govt. intends to grab the income as well as the property belonging to temples. All staunch Hindus should now come together and protest against the Act, he said further. The organizations participating in the agitations had asked the Government for a place to hold agitations which has now been allotted and the venue will be shifted accordingly.
