HJS distributes ‘Sanskar’ notebooks to needy children at Shahapur

Thane: Needy children, from primary school run by ‘Mahila Mandal’ and the Education Society, studying in 3rd to 10th standard were distributed ‘Sanskar’ notebooks by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS). About 350 students were benefited by this drive. The managing committee members of the school run by ‘Mahila Mandal’ viz. Mrs. Shital Gujare, Mrs. Aditi Kunder, Mrs. Anita Telawane, Shiv Sena’s municipal councilor Mrs. Rashmi Deharekar, Mr. Sudhir Telawane, the progressive builder and contractor from Andad, devout Hindu Mr. Kamalesh Kunder, Mr. Shivaji Vatkar, the district coordinator of HJS for Mumbai, Thane and Raigad, Mr. Ajay Sambhus, the Thane district coordinator of HJS were the dignitaries at whose hands, the ‘Sanskar’ notebooks were distributed. Many participants commended the activities of HJS and expressed their views that the mission of HJS would soon spread all over the country.

Highlights

1. Mr. Sudhir Gadage, the Director of the school at Andad advised students to use the said notebooks as their essay books so that they would remain in front of their eyes throughout the year.

2. The Principal of the school stated that efforts would be made to provide the notebooks to all students for all subjects during next year in both the schools.
