Hindus hand over a Christian to police for conversion attempts

Ashwin shuddha 5, Kaliyug Year 5113

Belgaum (Karnataka): A converted Christian from Angol (Belgaum District) was showing few books on miracles of Jesus Christ to Hindus so as to influence and convert them to adopt Christianity. As members of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) learnt about the same, they, along with activists of pro-Hindu organizations, helped to hand over the Christian to the police. (Congratulations to Hindus who handed over the Christian to police for enticing distressed Hindus with different things with the intention of converting them! Hindus should force the Government to pass an Act prohibiting conversions as incidents of Christian missionaries converting Hindus are on the rise. – Editor SP)

A converted Christian, who was a Hindu by birth, was distributing pamphlets and books on Jesus, free of cost, under the guise of helping people to get rid of addictions. Information on how Jesus cured people from different diseases through miracles was given in the pamphlets and books. (This is the usual method of Christians to convert Hindus. There have been references of miracles by Hindu Deities and Saints in various religious books of Hindus and biographies of Saints. Experiences of such miracles can be had by undertaking spiritual practice; but due to lack of ‘Dharmashikshan’ among Hindus, they do not realize it and fall prey to misleading information given by Christians; therefore, there is no alternative to imparting ‘Dharmashikshan’ to Hindus to bring a change in this situation. –  Editor SP) In the above pamphlets and books, experiences and photographs of only Hindus were published which were being circulated only to certain Hindus after studying their mental condition. (The above incident shows how Christians convert Hindus and engage them in propagation of their religion. Hindus should know that such converts are stauncher and get ready to foil their ploy. – Editor SP)

An alert Hindu noticed the matter and immediately informed a member of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti about the same. They kept a watch on the said person and later asked for the material he was distributing. He had 100- 150 books and pamphlets. They learnt the purpose of the material carried by him, wrote down his address and with the help of activists of Sriram Sena and Bajarang Dal, they took him to Tilakwadi police station. It was found that the Christian person had earlier, converted two Hindu families from Angol.
