Mr. Jevalikar observed that few persons were roaming around carrying ‘Cross’ in their hands or wearing them around their necks. He, then found out the vendor, selling such ‘Crosses’. He explained to the vendor that it was not right to sell symbols used by followers of other religions in Hindu festivals and temples and was a sin. The vendor then stopped selling the ‘Crosses’, therefore, Mr. Jevalikar went away; but in the evening, the vendor started selling ‘Crosses’ again. As Mr. Jevalikar realized it, he admonished the vendor, took away all crosses from him and immersed them in river water.
