Inauguration of Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha by lighting a Samai (an oil lamp) |
Shivpur (Wardha, Maharashtra): Hindu Dharma is eternal (Sanatan). Lack of Dharmashikshan is the cause of Hindus converting to other religions on such large scale. Saints and religious leaders are also trying to stop conversions among Hindus; but they are being opposed. Animals, birds and insects also live in groups in unity. Hindus should also remain united; but for this, imparting ‘Dharmashikshan’ to Hindus and bringing them together is necessary. The above statement was made by H. B. P. Madhavanand Bhalame Maharaj at Shivpur (Allipur) in Wardha District. He addressed the Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha organized by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) at ‘Fating’ hall which was attended by about 500 devout Hindus. The ‘sabha’ was also addressed by Mr. Nandkumar Jadhav of Sanatan Sanstha and Mr. Hemant Khatri of HJS. The ‘sabha’ began with lighting of lamp by the dignitaries and recitation of ‘Veda-mantras’.
