Ramnath (Alibag, Maharashtra): Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has been undertaking campaign for the past few years to stop manufacture and sale of crackers with pictures of Deities and great national heroes and creating awareness among people towards the issue. The campaign has received very good response in Raigad district and it has been observed that sale of about 90% of such crackers has stopped. Police are also taking immediate action against those who are selling such crackers. HJS has informed that the campaign will go on till 100 % success is achieved. Such type of crackers should not be bought nor be sold; else inform HJS about the same and seek blessings of the Deities. The above appeal has been made by HJS to patriotic and devout citizens.
