Lasalgaon (Dist. Nashik) : Diwali sweets and clothes were distributed on behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) to tribal population in 3 villages in Dang District on the border of Maharashtra and Gujarat States.
‘Ek karanji anandachi, ek laadu Diwali cha’ a drive is jointly undertaken since 5 years by HJS and Yoga Vedanta Samiti, Lasalgaon for the tribal brethren. This year too, sweets and clothes were distributed among about 1200 tribal people. Mr. Sandip Ghayal, Neelesh Bora, Ganesh Rajole of HJS and Mr. Khaire, Rayate, Chandak, Thakare and Kumawat of Yoga Vedanta Samiti took active part in the drive.
