Anti-Hindu Prof. Shyam Manav’s false accusation : Sanatan Sanstha gave contract to Diwakar Raote

Satara (Maharashtra): How can Sanatan Sanstha, which explodes bombs, spread spirituality? (None of the investigating agencies has so far said that Sanatan Sanstha explodes bombs; but anti-Hindu Shyam Manav has defamed Sanatan Sanstha by making such statements. Sanatan is seeking legal advice on Prof. Shyam Manav’s totally false statement ! – Editor SP) There are vested interest between Sanatan Sanstha and Shiv Sena MLA,  Diwakar Raote. Sanatan Sanstha has given contract to Diwakar Raote; therefore, he is so strongly opposing the proposed Anti-Superstitions Act, accused Prof. Shyam Manav. (Manav should prove that Sanatan Sanstha has given contract to Mr. Diwakar Raote; else be ready to face legal action. In fact, there is every possibility that Manav has taken contract from anti-Sanatan people to defame the Sanstha ! – Editor SP)

Manav was speaking in a program held by ‘All India Andha-shraddha Nirmulan Samiti’ on the topic of ‘Destiny, Astrology, how true, how false?’ under ‘Rajarshi Shahu Phalajyotish Virodhi Abhiyan (Drive against Astrology)’. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) had submitted a representation at city police station at 11.00 a.m. to Police Sub-inspector (PS) Vrushali Jedhe wherein it was mentioned that ‘looking at the past experience of Dr. Manav’s lectures, there can be criticism on Hindu Deities and Saints. Astrology has been accepted by Mumbai High Court as a science. It is, therefore, not right to create confusion about the same and the said program should not be allowed to take place and if permission is granted to hold the program, it should be video-recorded.’ PS Vrushali Jedhe promised HJS members while accepting the representation to video-record the program and issue notice to the organizers before the program.

Comments made by Prof. Shyam Manav spitting venom

1. I had suggested few changes to this Act in the year 2005 taking help of MLA Subhash Desai; but MLA Diwakar Raote spoke for 3 hours in the Legislative Assembly strongly opposing the Act .

2. One cannot intervene when someone is expressing his views on any Bill and MLA Diwakar Raote took full advantage of the same.

3. MLA Raote spread rumour at someone’s instigation that ‘We will not be able to follow customs, rituals, Satyanarayan puja, Vitthal Mahapuja, Maha-aarti etc.’

4. If Sanatan Sanstha is opposing this Act , I don’t have even 1 % objection; Sanatan Sanstha has to protest against this Act by stating such things because they are the ones who will first go to jail if this Act is passed. (Sanatan Sanstha is spreading spirituality in society. Under ‘clause 2 c’ of this Act, believing in divine power is an offence; therefore, all relevant holy books viz. ‘Vedas’, Geeta, Mahabharata, Ramayana etc. can be banned or action can be taken against Saints for their propagation. Prof. Manav’s conspiracy to target Sanatan Sanstha for spreading spirituality and later, arrest all chiefs of various organizations spreading spirituality leading to attack on Hindu Dharma, has thus been exposed. Hindus should, therefore, perform their duty towards Dharma by opposing such anti-Hindu Act so that arrests of saints can be prevented ! – Editor SP)

5. It is understandable that Sanatan Sanstha is opposing the Act; but some MLAs from Shiv Sena and BJP are strongly opposing the Act under the influence of Sanatan Sanstha, which is very unfortunate. Political parties should at least be responsible towards their social obligations.” (It is the usual practice of so-called intellectuals like Prof. Shyam Manav to raise voice against pro-Hindu parties and claim that they did not have any social obligation; after hatching conspiracy to pass an Act like anti-superstitions Act, attacking Hindu Dharma for putting Saints revered by all Hindus behind bars ! – Editor SP)
