Need of the hour to fight unitedly against attacks on Hindus – Rajashri Gadekar, Ranaragini
Ponda (Goa) : Hindus are attacked by way of denigrating their Deities etc. It is a need of the hour to fight against these attacks unitedly & constitutionally, stated Mrs.Rajashri Gadekar, coordinator of Ranaragini wing of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS). She was addressing a gathering at a Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha held at Sri Vishweshwar Lad Higher Secondary School at Pilaye, Dharbandoda,Goa. At this time Mrs.Deepa Mamledar of Sanatan Sanstha, Mr.Govind Chodankar of Gomantak Mandir and Dhaarmik Sanstha Mahasangh were present on the dais.
The Sabha started with lighting the auspicious lamp. Vedmurti Damodar Vaze Guruji, Director of Sanatan’s Sadhak Purahit Vedpathshala and other students of pathshala recited the Ved Mantras. A VCD giving information about the mission of HJS was shown at the venue. Shri. Deepak Gadekar of ‘India against Corruption’ was felicitated at this time on behalf of HJS for handing over the inspector Uday Parab who had made use of a Government crane for his personal work. Mrs.Kavita Keni of Sanatan Sanstha who had tolerated patiently mental torture of the Goa police was felicitated along with her husband Mr. Pradeep Keni. Goa Police had removed the Akashkandil of HJS from the house of Mrs.Keni with the charges that this ‘Hindu Aikya’ is written on Akashkandil .After this incidence Mrs.Keni narrated the whole incident to the press boldly in a press conference.

At the sabha Mrs. Rajshri Gadekar further said that, HJS has undertaken a very great mission. It has agitated constitutionally every time against denigration of Deities, posters with obscene pictures, etc. HJS is also imparting education of Dharma on a large scale. Mrs.Deepa Mamledar too said in her address that, there was no alternative to establishing a Hindu Rashtra in order to stop the ridiculing of Hindu leaders and attacks on Hindu Saints. Mr. Govind Chodankar gave information about how Sree Datta is being ridiculed through a song in the film ‘Deool’. He also said that Deities are being ridiculed openly through films, plays, etc. He advised Hindus to learn about Dharma and fight the injustice caused to it lawfully. Many resolutions were passed shouting the slogan, ‘Har Har Mahadev’. The Sabha concluded with the recitation of ‘Vande Mataram’. Sau. Revati Prabhudesai compered the sabha. Sabha attended by 125 devout Hindus.
