Will other pro-Hindu organizations learn something from HJS for its continuous efforts to protect Hindu Dharma ?
Kolhapur( Maharashtra) : The proposed Anti-Superstitions Bill has been presented in the session of Legislative Assembly. There are many shortcomings and oppressive clauses in the said Bill which if passed, can impose restriction on Hindus in abiding by their Dharma. Saints and religious leaders can also be troubled under the provisions of the said Bill; therefore, the Government should not pass the said Bill. A representation was submitted to the Chief Minister Pruthviraj Chavan by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) with the above demand. Mr. Suresh Chavan, Babasaheb Bhopale, Shivanand Swami of HJS were present on the occasion. The representation was given to the Chief Minister when he had come to attend Golden Jubilee program of Shivaji University.
Representation for removal of denigrating song from film ‘Deool’
In a song in Marathi film ‘Deool’, there is denigration of Lord Datta which has hurt religious sentiments of millions of Hindus; therefore, the song should be removed from the said film. A memorandum to the above effect was also given to the Chief Minister. A demand was made that representatives of pro-Hindu organizations should be appointed on the Film Censor Board.
