Hindus should be awakened leaving behind their ‘I’ ness for protection of Dharma ! – Padmashree Tambekar, the Chief Executive, Hindu Mahasabha, Nagpur

Nagpur( Maharashtra) :
Hindus must stop their over-tolerant nature and adopt ‘tit for tat’ policy. Swatantryaveer Savarkar had said that every Hindu youth should be given military training. Awareness should be created among Hindus to leave their ‘I’ ness, narrow mindedness for protection of Dharma. The above enlightening views were expressed by Mr. Padmashree Tambekar, the Chief Executive of Hindu Mahasabha while addressing the 8th Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha held at Lakshminagar, Nagpur. The ‘sabha’ started with blowing of conch followed with lighting of lamps and recitation of ‘Veda-mantras’. All dignitaries present were felicitated with shawl and sreephal (coconut). Mr. Shrikant Pisolkar, the district coordinator of HJS for Vidarbha and Mrs. Sunita Jamnare, active member of Sanatan Sanstha shared the dais. The ‘sabha’ was attended by about 200 devout Hindus.

Mr. Shrikant Pisolkar said, “Selling of cattle belonging to Shri Vitthal Temple Trust, Pandharpur to butchers, Act proposed to take over management of temples, anti-riots Act, Government’s decision to make use of money collected by Sree Saibaba Temple Trust for government projects, efforts to stop ‘abhishek’ on Shri Bhavani Devi, Tuljapur claiming that it caused erosion of the idol, despicable denigration of Sri Datta through the medium of film ‘Deul’ etc. are all incidents which are part of conspiracy to eliminate Hindu Dharma. Hindus should realize this conspiracy and unite in time for protection of Dharma.”

Mrs. Jamanare said, “If all Hindus and their various organizations come together for unification of Hindus, big tasks of protection of Dharma and Nation will be accomplished successfully.” VCD showing importance of ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’ was shown during the program. Mr. Pisolkar read out the proposals to be sent to the government on behalf of HJS and all attendees approved them unanimously.Scientific Cooperative Housing Society made available its ground free of charge. Lakshminagar zone of Nagpur Municipal Corporation took the responsibility of cleaning the venue.
