Mumbaites extend copious response to HJS’ vehicle rally against terrorism

40 two-wheelers, 8 four-wheelers and 150 devout citizens took part in the rally

Mumbai : To condemn the ‘jihadi’ attack on Mumbai on 26/11 and to protest against the Government for backing terrorism, a ‘vehicle rally’ was taken out by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) wherein devout Hindus and patriots joined in large numbers. The rally to create awareness among people towards the said issue received overwhelming response. Number of youth holding the ‘tri-colour’ and saffron flags participating in the rally, seemed to be sending a message of revolution to all Indians which started from Worli Sports Club, Adarshnagar. Mr. Sudamrao Shende of Sanatan Sanstha performed ‘puja’ of the ‘Dharma-dhvaj’ before start of the rally which was followed with raising of slogans acclaiming ‘Bharatmata’ and ‘Vande Mataram’. The rally was halted at Worli where innocent citizens had lost their life to 1993 bomb blasts and homage was paid to them. As the rally was moving on, patriotic citizens were also joining the marchers in raising slogans.

An appeal was made to people for joining the rally with the following verse  – ‘Bandivaan hi Bharatmata aaj phodite taaho, maatechya swatantryala ghar-daar sodun yaaho (Today our ‘Bharatmata’ is in captivity and crying out ; please leave everything and come forward to liberate her)’   All the onlookers were impressed with HJS members and appreciating their courage.   

Only solution to terrorism is Hindu nation – Sumit Sagavekar (HJS)

The rally was concluded on the ground of ‘Chinchpokali Sarvajanik Ganeshotsava Mandal’ in a small meeting when Mr. Sumit Sagavekar of HJS said, “Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj has shown us how to eliminate terrorism by pulling out guts of Afzal Khan. We have gathered here by keeping him as our ideal. Only ‘Dharma (righteous) Nation’ can eliminate terrorism; therefore, the only solution on eliminating terrorism is a Hindu nation.”

Highlights

1. Drinking water was distributed in the rally on behalf of Mr. Arvnind Bhosale, dy. area-chief of Shiv Sena and Mr. Mangesh Gurav, another dy. area-chief of Shiv Sena performed the ‘puja’ of ‘Dharma-dhvaj’.

2.  Mr. Vinayak Rane, the President of ‘Chinchpokali Sarvajanik Ganeshotsava Mandal’ attended the concluding program.
