Navanathapuram (Armur, Andhra Pradesh) :  Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha was held successfully in Lord Shiva’s sacred place Navanathapuram on 26th November 2011 in Kshatriya Kalyan Mantap at 5.30 PM. The sabha was a rare gathering of regional Hindu Dharmabhimanis and their active participation. By the grace of Navanathas and Lord Shiva the sabha went on smoothly. The sabha began with the HJS’ introductory video presentation. Kedareshwar Ashram’s Shri Shri Shri Balayogi Mungi Ramula Swamiji was the chief guest of the program. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti was represented by Mr. Chetan Janardan and Sanatan Sanstha representative was Mrs.Vinutha Shetti.They were the two main speakers.

Shri Shri Shri Balayogi Mungi Ramula Swamiji spoke about the importance of Hindu culture and said, ‘’Sanskar is very important especially for the children. And only Hinduism can give right Sanskar to our society’’. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s Mr.Chetan Janardan explained the present government’s indirect support to the anti Hindu activities. He also urged all the Hindus to unite in the name of ‘’Hindu’’ and raise their voices against Adharma. Mrs.Vinutha Shetti elucidated about the works of Sanatan Sanstha towards Hindu Dharma and said, ‘’Hindu Dharma is the base of every modern science,about which we are hearing now. So if we follow Dharma we will achieve all the needs for a better society.’’ Mrs. Padma Janardan presented about the Sanatan Prabhat paper and its works. Mrs. Aradhana Chetan sang Vande Mataram and Ms.Gayatri was the compere for the sabha.

Key Features:

  1. After the Sabha around 50 Dharmabhimani were present for healthy discussion for around one hour.Kshatriya Youth leader took responsibility to arrange lecture in five colleges.
  2. One temple trustee gave temple hall for conducting Dharmasatsang class.
  3. One Dharmabhimani has sponsored 10 Dharmashikshan flexes.
  4. Another Dharmabhimani sponsored 1000 pamphlets of 31st December.
  5. The Satvik Products stalls were full of Dharmabimanis even after the completion of the sabha for about one hour.
  6. Many major Telugu newspapers had covered all the aspects of this Dharmasabha, i.e. Press Meet, Procession and the day of Dharmasabha.
  7. Most of the people said that, they had not seen this type of large gathering of Hindus for many years. Around 415 Hindus attended the sabha.
