Kolhapur (Maharashtra) : It is everyone’s duty to preserve structures of historical importance. Sanatan Sanstha is propagating Hindu culture giving Hindus scientific information and turning them towards spirituality; but Congress Government is hatching a conspiracy to impose ban on Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS). If the Government tries to even lay a hand on either of these organizations, which are spreading Hindu culture and creating awareness among people, it will not be tolerated. Shiv Sena will extend support to both the organizations, commented Mr. Rajesh Kshirsagar, Shiv Sena’s MLA at Vishalgad on Thursday while addressing a program held on Sri Bharateshwar Mandir on Vishalgad.

On the historical day of Afzal Khan’s slaying on Margasheersh month’s Shukla Saptami as per Hindu calendar, HJS started its movement of preservation of historical structures in a very enthusiastic atmosphere. Display boards creating awareness among people were also inaugurated on this occasion by Mr. Kshirsagar, Mr. Sudhir Joshi- Vandurkar, an advocate and the city-chief of VHP for Kolhapur.

Mr. Ramesh Shinde, the spokesperson of HJS for the States of Maharashtra and Goa, Mr. Bandu Bhosale, a devout Hindu from Vishalgad along with other 70 devout Hindus attended the said program.

Let us try to prevent historical forts from getting converted into pubs – Ramesh Shinde

There are many important historical structures in the State like forts and mausoleums of great national leaders; but the shameless Government, busy developing ‘Lavasa’, has no time to pay attention to these historical treasures. It is very unfortunate that instead of getting inspired by ancient history to protect Hindu Nation, today’s young generation prefers to visit forts only for enjoyment.  Those writing their names on the walls of the forts should try to bring at least a single stone on the fort. We must strive to prevent such historical places from getting converted into pubs. Let us begin with Vishalgad. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj created history; but it is the duty of every Hindu to preserve the same. Shakespeare wrote so many plays, his pen is preserved in London; but the Government is not interested in getting back ‘Bhavani’ sword of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. HJS has therefore, taken up this task of bringing forth true history of Hindus.

Muslim stops HJS member from putting up saffron flag; but does so after admonition and other Muslims too fly saffron flags

Mr. Shivanand Swami was tying saffron flags at the base of Vishalgad, when a Muslim owner of a hotel stopped him from putting up a flag. When he was asked whether he was a Hindu or Muslim, he lied as being a Hindu. Then Mr. Swami asked, “If not here, should we fly saffron in Pakistan?”, the Muslim kept quiet. When Mr. Swami checked on his hotel, he realized that the owner was a Muslim. Other 6-7 Muslim hotel owners also saw what was going on and they helped to put up saffron flags on their hotels. (Congratulations to Mr. Shivanand Swami to put up saffron flags on the fort admonishing Muslims with right words. We need such devout Hindus. – Editor SP)

HJS starts revival of historical structures !

Many historical structures like forts, mausoleums of great Indian leaders, palaces etc. are catching dust for many years. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj drove out Mughals and preserved historical structures; but all these years, ideologically circumcised Congress rulers deliberately neglected these structures. These Congress rulers can go to the extent of even giving away such structures to Muslims for getting their votes. On number of occasions, HJS, along with other organizations, has submitted memorandum to the Government; but the Congress Government had done nothing except throwing such memos in dustbin. As a result, the desperate Hindus are forgetting their duties towards their Nation and Dharma. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti has, therefore, taken up this task of uniting Hindus and without playing any kind of politics, unfairness or communalism, has lighted the flame of reviving historical structures. It is the duty of every Hindu to help this mission taken up by HJS. The duty, which should have been done by the Government, is being done by HJS with other pro-Hindu organizations with great enthusiasm. A program was organized at Vishalgad by HJS on Thursday, to once again create valor among Hindus towards such historical structures.
