HJS submits memorandum to CM against Anti-superstitions Bill

Barshi (Solapur) : Memorandum demanding cancellation of the Anti-superstition Bill was submitted to the Chief Minister (CM) of Maharashtra, Mr. Pruthviraj Chavan by delegation of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) on Monday at Barshi. The memorandum has been signed by representatives of various pro-Hindu organizations. CM Chavan promised to go through the memorandum and give it serious consideration.

On Monday, Maharashtra CM, Mr. Pruthviraj Chavan had gone to Barshi for canvassing for the corporation’s election, when Mr. Vikram Ghodake and Mrs. Damayanti Rode of HJS met him at Chhatrapati Shivaji College and apprised him of the fury built up among all devotees, Warakaris against the  Anti-superstitions Bill and about the shortcomings in the Bill.
