Strong agitations have been announced on behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti throughout the state against the proposed Anti-Superstitions Bill which assaults Hindu Dharma. Proud righteous Hindus are submitting memorandums at some places while at others they are carrying out demonstrations against the proposed bill.
Demonstrations at Nerul
Nerul : Demonstrations against the proposed Removal of Anti-Superstitions Bill which assaults Hindu Dharma were carried out outside the railway station at Nerul in the evening at 5.30. Mr. Vidhnyan Patil, Secretary of BJP for Belapur, Mr. Uddhav Kharade of VHP, Mr. Vijay Khillare of Raje Shivray Vichar Prasarak Mandal, Dr. Uday Dhuri – Modern Vaidya of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti along with 36 proud righteous Hindus were present on this occasion.
Speaking on this occasion Mr. Vidhnyan Patil said, “Today the government bans the use of loudspeakers on the occasion of any Hindu festival; the government tells Hindus what should be done and how it should be done on the festive days; but it does not ban the use of sirens used by Masjids. The government is working to create a divide amongst Hindus. Today Hindus are being subjected to religious conversions on a large scale but nobody is doing anything about this. The time has come for Hindus to awaken.” While informing that the Maharashtra government on the pretext of Removal of Anti-Superstitions is bringing a law to ban the Hindu traditions, Modern Vaidya (Dr) Uday Dhuri also mentioned that there will be a ban on performing righteous activities such as Satyanarayan Pooja, Pandharpur Vari, Vastu Shanti, Upvas (Fasting), etc. On this occasion Mr. Khillare made an appeal to the people to join in the signature campaign. A large number of Hindus gave a spontaneous response to this appeal.

Hindu organisations and communities respond to the demonstrations at Ambernath
Ambernath : On behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, demonstrations against the proposed Removal of Anti-Superstitions Bill were held near the Ambernath East railway station. These demonstrations got spontaneous response from the Hindu organisations and communities. On this occasion officials of BJP, Art of Living, Sanatan Sanstha and other organisations were present.
Mr. Sanjay Adak, City Secretary for BJP said that Hindu Janajagruti has been waging a battle for a number of years against the atrocities on Hindu Dharma. This bill is very dangerous for Dharma. We should help in this battle with all our strength. Mr. Ajay Sambhus, Thane City Co-ordinator for the Samiti said that Dr. Narendra Dhabolkar of ANS is misguiding the society by telling them to retire God, leave the devotion towards saints, etc. He is receiving lakhs of rupees from foreign countries to do this work. This is their ploy to destroy Hindu Dharma. To repel and reject this ploy it is imperative that all should unite for this work.

Spontaneous response of proud righteous people to the demonstrations at Kalyan
Kalyan : On behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, demonstrations against the proposed Removal of Anti-Superstitions Bill were held in front of Deepak Restaurant near Kalyan railway station. These demonstrations got spontaneous response from the proud righteous people. On this occasion officials of Hindu Maha Sabha, BJP, Raje Shiv Chatrapati Pratisthan, Sanatan Sanstha and other organisations were present.
Mr. Pramod Joshi – Spokesperson for Hindu Maha Sabha said that in Maharashtra ANiS is engaged in the business of bring in the law against Dharma and in this a foreign hand is involved. If this bill is made into a law then we will not be even able to perform religious rights for our ancestors. Mrs. Alpana Joshi of Sanatan Sanstha said that Hindus should unite and oppose this proposed law. Modern Vaidya (Dr) Upendra Dahake from BJP’s Medical forum and Mr. Prashant Bhamre, Head of Raje Shiv Chatrapati Pratisthan were also present.
Memorandum presented to Tahsildar at Jamner, District Jalgaon
Jamner : The proposed Removal of Anti-Superstitions bill should be discarded as this assaults Hindu religious customs and traditions including treating worship in temples, religious rites, sacrificial fires as a crime and banning the practice of religious rites and propagating Dharma. A memorandum demanding the discarding of the proposed law was given to the Tahshildar at Jamner. Dr. Nandkumar Patil, Dr. Pramod Patil, Mr. Pradip Gujar, Mr. Deepak Dhumal, Mr. Jagdish Sonar, Mr. Ram Gujar and Miss. Pratiksha Korgaonkar of HJS along with large number of proud righteous people from Shendurni, Mengaon and Jamner were present on this occasion.
