Mumbai : Christian missionaries were found distributing pamphlets on the crowded Caesar Road, Andheri (W).The pamphlets were titled, ‘Why do we need money and benefits? Merits/Punya (??) and traditions? Dharma and Karma?’ Mr.Diwakar Agwane, Mr. Sumit Sarmalkar, Mr. Dayanand Kaddi of HJS inquired about this pamphlet distribution to the concerned missionaries. The missionaries arrogantly replied, ‘When you people can preach Hinduism then what is wrong if we preach Christianity?’ (Devout Hindus preach Hinduism to educate Hindus about their religion so that they can follow it and not with the motive of converting others. On the contrary, Christian Missionaries take undue advantage of the criticial condition of Hindus and convert them to Christians under the guise of assisting them. Hence, these missionaries have no right to talk to Hindus in such a manner. Hindus, realize the arrogant attitude of these missionaries through this incident! – Editor SP) The members of the Samiti then threatened them that if they would not go away, the police will be called. On hearing that they will be handed over to the police, the missionaries went away from the scene.

The pamphlet had the following points-
Bible teaches that there is not even a single religious individual who always does the good of others.
God has declared through His message that, all are sinners and devoid of the greatness of God.
Jesus was the one who was sent to uplift the whole mankind.
Bible is studied to know about heaven.
