Thane(Maharashtra) : A protest movement against the proposed Anti-Superstitious Bill was organised by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti at Yashodhannagar square in Thane yesterday. On this occasion citizens signed on the memorandum to be submitted to the government and expressed their anger about the proposed bill. A number of people also expressed their support to the protest movement of HJS against the Anti-Superstitious Bill.

During this movement the HJS activists held posters opposing the Anti-Superstitious bill.  Proclaiming slogans such as ‘We condemn the government for proposing this law’, ‘We condemn the Anti-Superstitious Bill’, ‘Awaken in opposition of the black law which is trying to ban the independence of Hindu Dharma’, ‘Jai Bhavani Jai Shivaji’, ‘Victory to Sanatan Hindu Dharma’ the HJS activists appealed the people to join the movement. The program ended with the complete recital of ‘Vande Mātaram’. More than 1200 citizens put their signatures on the memorandum against the proposed bill to be submitted to the government and fulfilled their duty towards Dharma.

On this occasion Mr. Rocky Hindustani of Bajrang Dal said, “Nationalist Congress, the name itself has a national dispute, while the Congress is like the grass which grows with the rains. The people from Congress can be seen only when elections are on the horizon. Congress means modern day Babar and Ghazni. This is why they are trying to bring in such laws.” On this occasion Mr Hindustani also appealed to the people to participate in the Sabhas, demonstrations and movement against proposed bills organised by HJS.

Highlights – ‘While ‘Vande Mātaram’ was being recited, few people on the road stood in attention.
