MLAs Dipti Chowdhari and Mohan Joshi had raised the issue of the theft of Jwellery at the temple of Deity Mandhardevi at Vai. Hearing that, Dr. Neelam Gorhe of Shivsena, gave the evidences of the thefts at the temples at Satara. She also expressed the possibility of robbery taking place at Sangali and Kolhapur. When questions like, what precautions were taken by the Government relating to these thefts, how many thefts had taken place in all, how many culprits were booked under these thefts and what action was taken against them, were asked, Mr. Patil gave the above mentioned information.
