Devout Hindus protest against anti superstitions Bill at Wardha

Wardha (Maharashtra) : A squatting agitation was held by the BJP, the Warkari Sampradaya, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, and other religious institutions at Shivaji Putala Chowk to oppose the Anti Superstitions Bill. This agitation had the respectful presence of Bhagvatacharya Mrs. Lalitadidi Tiwari, Haribhaktaparayan Pundalik Maharaj Deshmukh (Sawangi Meghe).

In the afternoon,post the squatting agitation the Collector was handed over a memorandum opposing the said Bill. Mr. Kamalkishore Kuladhariya of the BJP and corporator of the Wardha Municipality said, “This Government is playing vote bank politics while keeping its focus on power. By bringing in an anti-Hindu law the Government is trying to destroy Hindu Dharma. We strongly oppose this law which the Government is trying to bring in through the medium of ANS.

Thereafter Mr. Rajendra Soni of BJP said, “Since Hindus lack awareness, nobody is capable of envisioning, what kind of situations the future generations will have to face. The Government is engaged in such anti-Hindu acts to appease other faiths.”Mr. Vijay Dhabe, Mr. Sharadrao Deshpande and Mr. Dattatray Deshpande were also present on he occasion.
