Mumbai : Maharashtra Navnirman Sena’s – women’s wing had organized a lecture by Hindu Janajgruti Samiti’s Mrs. Vidya Kamerkar on the topic of ‘Makar-sankranti and spiritual practice’ for their members at Colaba branch. The lecture was organized by Mrs. Vijaya Thale, branch-chief of MNS and was attended by 15 women activists of MNS.
Highlights
- Women learnt the importance of giving ‘sattvik presents’ on the occasion of ‘Makar-sankranti’ and they said that they would give ‘sattvik’ things made by Sanatan Sanstha for this year’s ‘haldi-kumkum’.
- Mrs. Thale said that similar lectures would be organized even in other branches of MNS.
- The women activists realized that lack of ‘Dharmashikshan’ is the cause of pathetic condition of Hindus and the need for such ‘Dharmashikshan’.
