Faizpur (Dist. Jalgaon, Maharashtra) : Youth Festival has been organized in Dhanaji Nanaji College on behalf of North Maharashtra University. Students from 90 colleges are taking part in various programs in this festival. There is lot of mockery of Hindu Deities taking place through the plays staged by students in this festival. Moreover, Hindu students are only involved in denigration of Hindu Deities. (These students feel that there is nothing wrong in denigrating our Deities owing to lack of ‘Dharmashikshan’. Do the followers of other religions ever make mockery of their seats of worship? – Editor SP) Sriram and Srikrushna are the Deities that have been mainly ridiculed. The members of audience comprising of students and teachers are enjoying such denigration. (Those who are enjoying such mockery of Hindu Deities are also unrighteous. Why will God protect them during the period of crisis? – Editor SP)

Denigrating dialogues from the plays

Hanuman goes to Lanka after construction of ‘Ram-setu’ and He burns Lanka. While depicting this incident, Sriram says to Hanuman, “O Hanmya, throw those stones in water and go jumping to Lanka.” Hanuman goes accordingly and says to Ravana, “O wife-stealer, are you not ashamed to steal wives of others?” Ravan lights the tail of Hanuman when Lakshman says, “See how He is jumping on buildings.” On this Sriram says, “Lakshyaa is counting buildings.”

When Lakshman falls unconscious, Sriram says to Hanuman, “Hanamya, go and bring the whole shop of medicines of Pandu sheth.” Regarding Srikrushna, actors say, “Actresses like Rakhi Sawant etc. are today ready to get married. Had Krushna been there, all the actresses would have fallen in love with Him and it would have added to His number of lovers.” (One cannot be a Hindu if his blood does not boil after reading the above. – Editor SP)
