Lecture on importance of ‘Makar-sankranti’ as per spiritual science
Amaravati ( Maharashtra) : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti organized a lecture on the occasion of ‘Makar-sankranti’ in 17 areas in the city which received very good response from women. In this lecture, science behind celebrating Makar-sankranti, spiritual importance of ‘til (sesame)’ and ‘haldi-kumkum’, science behind custom of ‘Oti’ and its benefits as also importance of ‘sattvik’ ‘vaan’ were explained.
Highlights
- Many women said that they would give ‘sattvik’ ‘vaan’ and placed order for ‘sattvik’ products of Sanatan.
- All women said that they could learn about the science behind celebrating the festival of ‘Makar-sankranti’ only because of HJS and resolved to celebrate it as per the science. The women also requested to give them scientific information about the festivals to be celebrated in future.
