Congratulations to Karni Sena for striving hard to maintain and preserve true history !

Mumbai : Karni Sena has opposed the film titled as ‘Prithviraj’ produced under the banner of Yashraj Films. Karni Sena has demanded that the name of the film should maintain the dignity and honour that goes with the emperor’s name. Actor Akshay Kumar and former Miss World Manushi Chhillar are a part of this film. Shri. Dilip Rajput, Karani Sena’s Mumbai President, has written to the Mumbai Police Commissioner with the following demands.

1.We will not tolerate anything wrong shown against Emperor Prithviraj Chauhan. Emperor Prithviraj Chauhan is the symbol of honour and identity of this country. The title given to a film based on his life should maintain the honour it deserves.

2. The present title of the film has a feel of disregard and insult. Karni Sena will intensify its agitation if the title is not changed.

3. Film producers only aim at entertaining and earning money. They distort history to insert fantasy sequences to draw crowds.

4. When the producer cannot even accord proper respect through the title, it naturally raises questions on the quality of the content.

5. In a meeting held by Karni Sena on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Emperor Prithviraj Chauhan, it was resolved to ask Mumbai police to take action against Yashraj Films.

6. Karani Sena has set Yashraj Films a deadline to change the title of its film.

7. Yashraj Films has not yet responded in any way to this issue. The film is slated to be released on 5th November 2021.
