Issue of objectionable matter written by Girish Kuber about Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj

Memorandum submitted against Girish Kuber by ‘Shree Shivapratishthan Hindustan’ at ShaniShingnapur and Jamkhed

Nagar : A memorandum was submitted with Police Inspector of Shri Kshetra Shani Shingnapur and Tehasildar of Jamkhed demanding ban on the book titled ‘Renaissance the State’ written by Editor Girish Kuber of Marathi newspaper ‘Loksatta’. Such a demand has been made for a ban on this book not only in Maharashtra but also all over the country. ‘Shree Shivapratishthan Hindustan’ has also given a warning to stage agitations if ban was not imposed immediately and if a case was not filed against Girish Kuber.

File case immediately against Girish Kuber ! – Nitin Shinde, former MLA

Sangli : Loksatta’s Editor Girish Kuber has stated in his book titled ‘Renaissance the State’ that Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj killed his mother Soyarabai and his cabinet of 8 ministers. Such a statement has been made without any historical proof and is totally false. Through this, Kuber has tried to create communal disharmony amongst people of various castes; therefore, the State Government should confiscate all copies of this book viz. ‘Renaissance the State’ and should immediately file a case against Girish Kuber, was the demand made by Shri. Nitin Shinde, a former MLA. Shree Sambhaji Pratishthan staged intense demonstrations against Girish Kuber at Rajwada Chowk when Shri. Nitin Shinde made this demand.

Advocate (Sou.) Swati Shinde, municipal councillor of BJP, Shri. Prasad Risawade, Secretary of ‘Pratishthan’, its members viz. Shri. Amar Padalkar, Shri. Avinash Mohite, Shri. Santosh Patil, Shri. Raju Jadhav, Shri. Pradip Nikam, Shri. Tanaji Shinde, Shri. Amit Suryavanshi, Shri. Sanjay Jadhav, Shri. Ashok Patil, Shri. Nikhil Sawant and members of BJP, Shiv Sena and office bearers of ‘Hindu Ekata Andolan’ participated in the demonstrations.

Complaint lodged by BJP against Girish Kuber in Pune

Pune – A complaint has been lodged with the Warje police station against Girish Kuber by Shri. Mahesh Pavale, the President of Raje Shivaraya Pratisthan and Vice President of BJP’s Yuva Morch of Pune city. It has also been demanded in the complaint to conduct an in-depth inquiry into reasons for Girish Kuber giving such false information in his book and taking legal action against him.
