Bhagyanagar (Andhra Pradesh) : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti members went to the District Collector’s office on Monday 23rd January, 2012 to submit memorandum, to stop the denigration of our national flag and reminding the citizens about our National Heroes and the Pride of our national flag.

Samiti members Mr. Nilkant Naik, Ms. Deepali Govekar and Mr. Prasanna Venkatapur met the Joint Collector of the city during the Public Grievance Day Meeting. When the Joint Collector Mr. Satyanandam heard the Samiti members and read the Memorandum, he quickly asked the members to address and convey the message to the gathered government officers, media persons and citizens. The Joint Collector later announced the Samiti name and called forward Ms. Deepali Govekar.

While addressing the gathered officers, Ms. Deepali Govekar said that, “Our national flag is far more than just a tricolour. So we should not disrespect our national flag by using Plastic flags and throwing it on a road side after the celebration.’’

HiTech City (Bhagyanagar) : Samiti members Mrs. Uma Raju and Mr. Nilkant Naik met Lingampally Tahasildar and submitted a  memorandum, on 24th January, 2012. The officer said that he will pass a circular to government offices, police stations and schools to spot denigration of our national flag, and also guaranteed to help the Samiti members in future.

Samiti members submitted the memorandum not only in Bhagyanagar, but also in other regions of Andhra Pradesh state, like Visakhapatnam and Indur.
Visakhapatnam (Bhagyanagar) : Samiti members met the IAS officer Mr. M. Girija Shankar and gave memorandum and urged to take strict action against those who disrespect our national flag. Samiti members Mrs. Meena Kadam, Mrs. Shobha Bhosle, Mrs. Sharada Jadhav, Mrs. Sunanda Shinde and Mr. Mahadevrao Shinde were present during this meet.

Indur (Bhagyanagar) : Memorandum has been submitted to Indur (Nizamabad) district MRO and DSP by the Samiti members Mr. Chetan Janardan, Mrs. Aradhana Chetan and Mr. Subodh on 23rd January, 2012.
