Niphad (Dist.Nashik, Maharashtra) : Seekers of Sanatan Sanstha foiled the attempt of Christian missionaries who were trying to convert Hindus in the name of attending prayers at Chandori in Niphad taluka. Sanatan seekers created awareness among Hindus on the subject. (Congratulations to Sanatan seekers for foiling conversion attempts of missionaries! Such seekers are the strength of Sanatan ! – Editor SP)

1. Sanatan Sanstha’s activities are going on in Chandori for the past ten years.

2. In the rural areas, Christian missionaries were holding programs on every Thursday since last one month.

3.The program included giving so-called spiritual treatment to patients, praying to Jesus, telling people that ‘Jesus is the real God and he would cure all diseases’, giving water from the church to drink claiming it to be ‘holy’, telling fake stories of Jesus etc.

4. The main intention was to create affinity among Hindus towards Christianity and spread misunderstanding about Hindu Dharma.

5. 150 – 200 Hindus used to get carried away with such false propagation and used to attend the program.

6. Few alert local residents brought it to the notice of Sanatan seekers.

7. The Hindus who used to have such programs at their house, were contacted and explained the subject.

8.  Hindus were explained the motive behind such programs held by the Christians, their conspiracy and importance of Dharma.

9. After the guidance, Hindus’ views changed and they decided not to fall for false propagation.

10. They immediately stopped programs held by Christian missionaries, removed ‘Cross’ worn by them and removed picture of Jesus put up in their house.

11. They also expressed interest in subscribing to weekly ‘Sanatan Prabhat’.
