Devout Hindus protest against Govt.
Secular Congress Govt. rubs salt on the wounds of Hindus !
Panaji (Goa) : Indian Government has declared the civil award of ‘Padmabhushan’ to Dr. Jose Pereira, a professor, writer and artist who is originally from Goa but now staying in USA. Few months back, he had held an exhibition of indecent and nude pictures of Hindu Deities like Bhagavan Krushna, Shiva etc. drawn by him when Hindus had strongly opposed him. Even then, the Government has declared such prestigious award to Dr. Jose; therefore, devout Hindus have condemned the Government. (It is a live example of the Government’s total disregard towards sentiments of Hindus by awarding the third highest civil award to a person like Dr. Pereira who has trampled religious sentiments of Hindus. Hindus should think about what followers of those Sects would have done if such an incident had taken place in case of Muslims or Christians and force the Government to pay due respect to their sentiments. – Editor SP)
This award has been declared in the category of non-resident Indians. The award will be conferred either in the last week of March or beginning of April at Rashtrapati Bhavan, Delhi by the President of India, Dr. Pratibha Devisingh Patil. ‘Padmabhusahn’ is the third highest award after ‘Bharat-ratna’ and ‘Padma-vibhushan’ awards given to a civilian. This year, 27 awardees of Padmabhusan have been announced on the occasion of Republic Day including Shabana Azmi.
Secular Congress’ destructive tradition of felicitating anti-Hindus !
Anti-Hindu painter M F Husain was awarded ‘Padma-bhushan’ in the year 1973 and ‘Padma-vibhushan’ in the year 1991. He was also selected as MP to the Upper House of the Parliament in 1986. (Indians should realize that the Congress Govt. thinks of giving awards to persons like Dr. Pereira who tramples sentiments of Hindus and Shabana Azmi who is constantly taking side of anti-national Muslims; rather than patriots who are sincerely working for the welfare of nation and Dharma ! – Editor SP)
