Bhiwandi (Maharashtra): On the occasion of ‘Makar Sankranti’, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) organized a ‘get-together’ at Parivali. About 60 local residents attended the program.
CDs on ‘Makar-sankranti’ and ‘how to remove evil spell’ were shown during the program imparting ‘Dharma-shikshan’. Mrs. Manisha Kshirsagar of HJS spoke about need for Dharma-shikshan and Mr. Abhijit Bhojane explained the purpose and importance of holding such ‘get-together’. ‘Til-gul’ was distributed along with ‘sattvik vaans’ after ‘haldi-kumkum’ held on the occasion. Exhibition of holy books published by Sanatan and its ‘sattvik’ products was held at the venue. Many people visited the exhibition. Mrs. Supriya Gaikwad of HJS did compeering of the program. The program was concluded with recitation of ‘Sri Guru’s shloka.
