Theft in Jain Temple at Chokak

Magh Shukla Trayodashi, Kaliyug Varsha 5113

Hatkanangale (Dist. Kolhapur, Maharashtra) : Unknown persons have stolen, in the midnight, silver ornaments and cash from the donation box kept in a temple worth Rs. 50,000/- at Chokak (Tal. Hatkanangale). A complaint about theft has been lodged by the priest of the temple Mr. Upadhye with Hatkanagale Police Station. (Hindus should realize that increasing incidents of theft in temples is a planned conspiracy against them. How long are Hindus to allow such things to continue by electing rulers who cannot provide protection to their places of worship? – Editor SP)

Last year too, theft had taken place in this Jain Temple and the culprits have not yet been found when theft has occurred second time. (If such thing had taken place in case of followers of other Sects like Christians or Muslims, police would have tried to find out the offenders immediately. Will the police machinery, that cannot find temple thieves, be able to find armed terrorists hiding in small by-lanes? – Editor SP)
