Govt. should respect the religious sentiments of ‘Warkaris’ and in the background of ‘Ashadhi Ekadashi’, immediately find a way out in ‘wari’ taken out by ‘Warkaris’ on foot! – Sunil Ghanavat, State Coordinator- HJS, Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh
Solapur – All ‘Vaishnavas’, ‘Warkari’ organizations, ‘Dindikari’ and ‘Fadakari’ have been demanding permission for undertaking ‘wari’ on foot to Alandi-Pandharpur and Dehu-Pandharpur on the occasion of Ashadhi Ekadashi in Maharashtra. The Government should therefore, respect the religious sentiments of ‘Warkaris’ and convene a meeting to discuss this issue and find a solution. Many concessions have been extended even during this period of Corona pandemic in connection with elections held in the country and in other matters. The Government should therefore, take prompt decision in case of Ashadhi ‘wari’ considering religious sentiments of all ‘Vaishnava’ community and ‘Warkaris’, is the demand made by us on behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS), stated Shri. Sunil Ghanavat.
We will follow all rules, regulations and restrictions; but will not stop ‘wari’ on foot ! – H.B.P. Narhari Maharaj Chaudhari, ‘Warkari Mahamandal’, Secretary (Alandi)
Our stand is clear and which is on behalf of the whole ‘Warkari’ Sect that ‘wari’ has been taken to Pandharpur only on foot all these years and it should be undertaken even in this year. We shall follow all rules, regulations and restrictions but we will not let ‘wari’ be discontinued.
‘Wari’ on foot has to be undertaken this year ! – Acharya Tushar Bhosale, BJP- leader ‘Spiritual Front’
‘Wari’ is a rich legacy. The whole ‘Warkari’ Sect strongly feels that despite all restrictions, ‘wari’ has to be taken out on foot. The Chief Minister should not waste time but immediately discuss the matter with ‘Warkaris’ and formulate rules and regulations; but ‘wari’ has to be taken out this year. We shall not compromise on this issue. Acharya Tushar Bhosale, of BJP’s ‘Spiritual Front’ presented his stand on the above issue.
