Kalyan(Thane) : Mrs. Vijayatai Pote, coordinator of Shiv Sena for women from Beturkarpada area had organized ‘haldi-kumkum’ and ‘tilgul’ distribution program on the occasion of Makarsankranti during which Mrs. Seema Bhor, an activist of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) spoke on the topic of ‘Importance of abiding by Dharma (Dharmacharan) and need of ‘Dharmacharan’ as per the times’. She explained about different festivals, religious festivals, observances and gave information on ‘Makarsankranti’ as also significance of giving ‘vaan’, how to accept it etc. besides HJS activities. About 250 people attended the program.
Highlights : Mrs. Vijaya Pote gave ‘Sanatan’s ‘sattvik’ product as ‘vaan’ to the ladies attending the program.
