Gross humiliation of Hindus’ religious sentiments by ‘Flipkart’ through a picture of Bhagavan Shiva-Parvati on its Cell phone cover, showing them with vulgar poses !
- Would ‘Flipkart’ dare to keep such pictures related to seats or objects of worship of other religions? Hindus need to create such high standards for themselves so that nobody would dare to abuse their seats of worship !
- In Bharat where Hindus are a majority population, why doesn’t the Government impose a ban on companies which are time and again indulging in denigrating Hindus’ Deities ?
Mumbai : ‘Flipkart’, an e-commerce website selling goods online, had kept on sale, cell phone case with a picture of Bhagavan Shiva and Mata Parvati in sexy poses. ‘Flipkart’ later removed this cover from its website after Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) made an appeal to them in this regard. Cover for Samsung Company’s cell phone was available on ‘Flipkart’ at discounted price for a limited period. There was a picture of Bhagavan Shiva on this cover with a crescent-moon on His head, serpent around His neck, Trident in His hand, wearing ‘rudraksh-mala’ with He and Mata Parvati in sexy poses. HJS gave its information on ‘Twitter’ informing that the cover has hurt religious sentiments of Hindus; making an appeal to immediately withdraw the cover from its website. Many devout Hindus extended support to HJS for its appeal and condemned ‘Flipkart’s anti-Hindu action. They too demanded withdrawal of such cover from the website. Finally, the cover was removed by ‘Flipkart’ from its website. (Congratulations to alert devout Hindus for raising voice against denigration of Deities ! Other Hindus can learn a lesson from this incident and follow suit ! – Editor, Hindujagruti)
