HJS online workshop in Pune district on ‘Vakta and Pravakta’ !  

Every Hindu should become a speaker and spokesperson to counter objections raised against Hindu Dharma ! – Sunil Ghanavat, State – Coordinator, HJS for Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh

Pune – The so-called progressive people, intellectuals and secularists are criticising Hindu Dharma. They are insulting Hindu Dharma by raising objections to various customs and traditions followed in Hindu Dharma. Every Hindu should therefore, try to be a speaker, spokesperson to stop such things and to bring about change in this situation for protection of Hindu Dharma and to prevent attacks on Hindu Dharma. The above views were expressed by Shri. Sunil Ghanavat, the State -Coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) while addressing an online workshop held on ‘Vakta-Pravakta’ for devout Hindus from Pune district. Several devout Hindus from Pune city, Hadapsar, Bhor, Shiraval and Pimpri-Chinchwad had joined the workshop. Shri. Parag Gokhale, Pune District Coordinator of HJS explained the purpose of holding this workshop. Shri. Ghanavat advised the participants to study, read ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’, read holy books, be aware of what is happening around us and study them and keep the audience in a positive frame of mind. The workshop was held without any obstacles in a very enthusiastic atmosphere.

In the first session of the workshop, devout Hindus effectively presented topics given to them with proper study. In the second session, group discussions were held on the topics viz. ‘Has ‘Kumbh-Mela’ become like ‘Markaz’ ?’ and ‘False propaganda and denigration of Hindu Dharma, Deities and Holy Scriptures on social media’.

Highlights

1.Participating devout Hindus were told to carry out some changes after they presented the subject and they accepted the changes with open mind. It showed their yearning for joining ‘Dharmakarya’ activities.

2.Participating devout Hindus faced problems like rain and network before the start of the  workshop; but they could finally overcome and whole-heartedly join the workshop.

3.The participants spontaneously said after Shri. Sunil Ghanavat’s guidance that they were ready to become ideal speakers and would immediately start their efforts in that direction.

Feedback by devout Hindus

After his guidance, Shri. Sunil Ghanavat effectively presented the process of making preparations before and after becoming an ideal speaker and how one should take a review of oneself. He also said that we have to be not just speakers but seeker-speakers (sadhak-vakta) and disciple-speakers (shishya-vakta); to which, all participating devout Hindus responded positively and they made a resolve to be good speakers after conclusion of the workshop. It was also decided to hold a fortnightly meeting with them on a regular basis.
