Rajura (Dist. Chandrapur) : Many devotees visited Somnathpur Shiva Temple on the occasion of ‘Mahashivaratri’; therefore, there was lot of garbage collected in the temple and surrounding area. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS), that takes care of Hindu temples, undertook a cleaning drive. The garbage was removed and Shiva and Hanuman temples were cleaned with water. The activists of HJS who took part in this drive were Mr. Vinod Kongare, Suresh Bobade, Namdev Urkude, Dasharath Uge, Balu Chaudhary, Mrs. Meena Kongare, Vaishali Bobade, Miss Neha Kongare, Sonal Zade and trustee of the temple, Mr. Lakshmanrao Pawankar.
