Slap in the face of all the Sanatan – haters maligning Sanatan by making baseless accusations

Mumbai :  A Bench of Mumbai High Court comprising of Judges Vidyasagar Kanade and Pramod Kode recently passed a verdict that Dr. (Miss) Aparna Mahangade (age- 23 yrs), a seeker of Sanatan Sanstha is a major  and can undertake spiritual practice under the guidance of Sanatan Sanstha. She can also stay in any of the ashrams of Sanatan.

Such verdict is kind of a slap in the face of relatives of Dr. (Miss) Aparna and those Sanatan-hating politicians, police and few mass media channels who unnecessarily defamed Sanatan by making baseless accusations against it that ‘Sanatan is misleading or hypnotizing young men and women to draw them in its net’, ‘Its philosophy is harmful’ etc. Mr. Rajan Bunage, a representative of Sanatan Sanstha informed in the press conference held at ‘Press Club’ today that the decision of the Court is in a way an endorsement that Sanatan is engaged in activities for the welfare of people, nation and Dharma. Sanatan seeker Dr. (Miss) Aparna Mahangade, her brother Mr. Ajit Mahangade and advocate Veerendra Ichalkaranjikar also attended the conference.

Mr. Bunage said further,

1.Dr. (Miss) Aparna Mahangade is doing spiritual practice from home for the last 4 years through the medium of the Sanstha. She wanted to stay at Sanatan’s ashram at Devad, Panvel and undertake spiritual practice and research in Ayurveda under the guidance of the Sanstha; but her relatives strongly opposed her decision against her wishes. Her relatives threatened to attack the ashram, to forcefully take her home, etc. They also came to ashram, created chaos disturbing peace and the sanctity of the ashram; therefore, ashram-manager had to call the police. Police decided to send her home with her parents; but her brother i.e. Mr. Ajit Mahangade filed ‘habeas corpus’ petition that in this whole process and even at the police station, injustice was being done to her. The Court has now passed the above verdict doing justice to Dr. (Miss) Aparna.”

2. Youth is drawn to Sanatan due to its selfless social welfare and nation building activities !

“Sanatan Sanstha is engaged in activities for protection of nation and people, to spread spirituality to improve social health of the society and to achive this, explain the importance of abiding by Dharma by educating people in ‘Dharma-shastra’.   Due to such extensive and selfless noble activities of Sanatan, today’s youth is getting drawn to Sanatan Sanstha because the young generation has the yearning to create healthy society and nation.  The yearning among youth was seen even in the movement undertaken against corruption by senior social activist, Shri. Anna Hazare or Yoga-rhushi Baba Ramdev. Youth is drawn to Sanatan because of its activities related to bring about improvement in the working of society and nation. Toaday’s youth has a very noble viewpoint towards their life and there is immense need to encourage them. The activities of Sanatan of spreading spirituality and research are also going on.  These activities are supported by many people with the sacrifices made by them; even then, some media channels unnecessarily maligned Sanstha’s name; Sanstha’s seekers had to face bullying, beatings, abusing etc. Police from Panvel police station extended no cooperation; but the verdict of the High Court has done us justice. We make an appeal to media for understanding standpoint of Sanatan engaged in spreading spiritual science, and activities for betterment of Nation and Dharma in case it faced injustice in future.”

Undersatand the yearning in youth like us, to do something in the interest of society and nation ! – Dr. (Miss) Aparna Mahangade

Dr. (Miss) Aparna Mahangade said, “All parents wish that their children should earn money to lead a happy personal life; but it is definitely more beneficial to make use of one’s life for the upliftment of society and nation. The condition of nation and Dharma is very grave today. If Dharma is eliminated, the nation and society will also perished. Sanatan Sanstha is engaged exactly in this mission. The condition of today’s youth is deteriorating because of influence of western culture. Sanatan is trying to preserve Hindu culture in them, undertaking different campaigns in the interest of society and as a part of that, it is also carrying on research in Ayurvedic medicines. Iere am a part of it and am leading life in most appropriate manner. Our relatives do not agree with Sanstha’s philosophy; thfore, they pressurized my parents to oppose my undertaking spiritual practice through the medium of Sanatan. In fact, my mother came into Sanatan before me and practicing spirituality under the guidance of the Sanstha. I am fully confident that in the coming year, the misunderstanding between my parents will be over; they will realize the noble purpose of my life and they too will start spiritual practice through Sanatan in full swing. I am in contact with my parents even today. There are no restrictions imposed by the Sanstha on any seeker. Seeker can take decisions of their individual life. They are free to do that. I know that there are people in society who oppose my views; but will it be right to be afraid of them and drift from the noble purpose of my life? The journalists should think about it. Try to understand the yearning in us, the youth to do something for the betterment of society and nation and please explain to the society about the unnecessary defamation faced by Sanatan Sanstha in this matter.”
