Jamashedpur (Jharkhand) : Main publicity is given to the news about crime, cricket and films. Today, if some actor dies, it becomes the headline when the problems related to politics, financial matters and security of this country are not solved. Funds collected in donation boxes of Hindu temples are given to run churches and madarasas.
Out of the tax paid by Indian citizens, families of terrorists are given financial aid; whereas families of the soldiers sacrificing their life for protection of this country have to beg to the Government for help. On the whole, this Government is cheating its citizens by adopting ‘Delay’, ‘Dilute’ and ‘Delete’ policy. The above views were expressed by Mr. Ramesh Shinde, the spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) for the States of Maharashtra, Goa and Gujarat. He was speaking in a program organized by HJS at Jamashedpur on 27th February. The program was attended by about 150 devout Hindus.
Making appeal to do introspection on the present condition of this country, Mr. Shinde said, “The news about supply of water mixed with cow’s blood in one of the cities in Maharashtra was shown at 2.30 a.m. in the night and information about Saif Ali Khan fighting in a hotel becomes ‘breaking news’. It is necessary to create patriotism and love and respect towards their Dharma among Hindus so as to bring about change in the present situation; but for this, Hindus need to learn more about their Dharma.
