Phalgun Krushna 8, Kaliyug Varsha 5113

Sambhajinagar (Maharashtra): Sambhajinagar Bench of Mumbai High Court today passed an order to dissolve the executive committee of Shirdi Sai Baba Sansthan. New executive committee should be appointed within next 15 days; else a 3-member committee will be appointed which will look after the work till new committee is formed, ordered the Bench of Justice Naresh Patil and Justice Tanaji Nalawade.

1. The tenure of the earlier executive trustees committee has ended on 22nd August 2007. It is therefore, obligatory on the Government to form a new trustees committee. A petition with the above demand was filed by Mr. Rajendra Gondekar through advocate Pradip Patil. (Congratulations to advocate Pradip Patil for fighting, in lawful manner, against the Government’s misconduct which is the result of ‘governmentalisation’ of temple ! – Editor SP)

2.  The Bench has given many opportunities to the Government to file an affidavit in this regard; but the Government has taken no action. (Anti-law Government that has no respect for the High Court, will never pay attention to people’s complaints. The only remedy is to oust such rulers! – Editor SP)

3. It has been stated in the Act that the old trustee committee can look after the work only as an exception; in a special case.

4. There is no provision for extension of tenure but the present trustee committee has worked for additional 4 and half years. There are 17 members in the committee including President and Vice President.
