Amaravati (Maharashtra) : For the advertisement of ‘Wagh-bakri’ tea, pictures of Shri Ganesha and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj have been misused. MaharashtraWarakari Mandal and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) have registered their protest against this advertisement. The Company has been giving assurance to the follow up made by the protesters demanding withdrawal of the advertisement.

H.B.P. Shyamsundar Nichit Maharaj, the district-President of Maharashtra Warakari Mandal for Amaravati and Mr. Hemant Khatri of HJS contacted the company’s office and registered their protest. Mr. Khatri contacted marketing manager of the company for Maharashtra, Mr. Maulik Shelat from the ‘Gujarat Tea processors and Packers Ltd’s office in Karnavati (Ahmedabad) when he said that it would take at least a day to withdraw the advertisement displayed in various districts. After following up with him 2-3 times, he promised that the advertisement would be definitely withdrawn; but he did not act as per the promise. Later, Mr. Tushar Gandhe, Company’s Sales Officer at Vidarbha called up Mr. Khatri and informed that the remaining time limit to show the said advertisement was only 8 days; after which the advertisement would, in any way, be withdrawn. (Hindus should realize that such Hindus by birth are the real foes of Hindu Dharma. Take them to task in lawful manner ! – Editor SP)
