Hindu Janajagruti Samiti gives guidance to youth at a number of places

Bhivandi (Maharashtra) :  According to the annual tradition followed on the occasion of Shiv Jayanti at Zhenda Naka – Vani Aali, this year too saw the unfurling of a new saffron flag at the place where Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj had first unfurled a saffron flag.  On this occasion ‘Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’ was invited to deliver a speech on Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The speeches given by speakers of the Samiti electrified the entire environment.

This program was organised by ‘Shivthirth Mitra Mandal’ of Bhivandi Vani Aali. The program commenced with the worship of Shivaji Maharaj’s statue by Mr. Sainath Pawar – Maharashtra State Working Committee Member of BJP followed by unfurling the flag. In the beginning Mr. Abhijit Bhojane of HJS expressed the need for Hindus to unite not only on Shiv Jayanti but they should unite on the remaining 364 days for the country and righteousness. Mr. Prashant Surve of HJS gave information about the valour of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and later on the proposed Anti-Superstitious Bill. He also made an appeal to be present at Azad Maidan on 20 March 2012 to support the HJS in their movement against the anti-Superstitious Bill organised on that day.

Mr. Ajay Sambhus delivered lectures on behalf of the Samiti at the Shiv Jayanti celebrations organised by three local groups at Parivali. More than 70 youth took benefit of the lectures.  At the end of the program Mr. Atul Dev explained the special features of righteous Hindu daily ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ and made an appeal to the locals to become subscribers.

Highlights

  • The program started late at night, but still more than 250 people enthusiastically participated in the program.
  • After the program ended, a group of youth were engaged in discussions with Mr. Prashant Surve for a long time.
