Mumbai : As long as we are members of the Vidhan Sabha we will not allow the Anti-Superstitious law to passed on the floor of the assembly. Contact me first whenever any attack on righteousness takes place. I will immediately provide help and try to prevent attacks on righteousness. These assurances were given recently by MNS MLA from Ghatkopar Mr. Ram Kadam.
A combined team comprising members of Warkari Sampradaya and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti recently met the MLA at his residence. He was speaking on this occasion. H. B. P. Bapu Maharaj of Rashtriya Warkari Sena, Coordinator for HJS for Mumbai, Thane and Raigad region Mr. Shivaji Vatkar and other officials were part of the team that met the MLA.
At this time Mr. Kadam was given documents related to the issue of cows received in donation at the government controlled Vitthal Temple at Pandharpur being sold to butchers, isuue related to teaching of Srimad Bhagwad Gita in schools, issue relate to the play ‘Thararli Vit’ which depicts prostitution as part of the Pandhari Vari, degradation of Shri Dattatreya in the film ‘Deoul’, etc. On this occasion Mr. Kadam said, Ï am an MLA who follows righteousness and I have also studied righteousness. Attacks on righteousness will never be tolerated. I will surely raise my voice in the assembly on this issue.
